Administrative Virtual Data Entry Operator/Clerk (Remote) Description:
We are seeking a qualified Data Entry Operator to manage and maintain our company's databases and computer systems with up-to-date information. The responsibilities of the Data Entry Operator include gathering and entering data into databases, as well as ensuring the accuracy of the company's valuable records. Our ideal candidate possesses excellent data entry skills, such as fast typing speed and attention to detail, along with experience in working with spreadsheets and online forms. You will be working with a data team and a Data Manager. Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role will be considered an added advantage. In the end, the successful Data Entry Operator will be responsible for ensuring that the information in our systems is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
- Input customer and account data accurately and promptly from source documents (text-based and numerical information)
- Sort information based on priorities and ensure its accuracy
- Correct errors and deficiencies in data, and check for any incompatibilities
- Conduct research to obtain missing information for incomplete documents
- Apply relevant data program techniques and procedures
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations
- Maintain confidentiality of all information processed
- Respond to inquiries and provide access to relevant files when required
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
- Ensure proper use of office equipment and promptly address any malfunctions.
- Proven track record of data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
- Proficiency in using MS Office and data programs
- Familiarity with administrative duties
- Experience in operating office equipment such as a fax machine and scanner
- Possess good typing speed and accuracy
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Strong attention to detail
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- A high school diploma is mandatory. Additional computer training or certification will be considered an asset.
Analyze online search queries and assess their precision
Provide a report on the accuracy of the search queries analyzed
Utilize data obtained to enhance and optimize online search results
