Position Description:

A key position in any organization is the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The role of this one is to develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Experience and expertise in DEI initiatives and a passion for creating an inclusive and equitable workplace are what the successful candidate will bring.

The Director of DEI will work with senior leadership to develop strategies and plans to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives. Developing policies, programs, and practices that ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees is part of this. They will work with human resources to create a welcoming environment.

The Director of DEI will work with external organizations and community members to ensure effective communication. Tracking progress on DEI initiatives is one of the things they will be responsible for.
